A Couple Funnies

With all the excitment of getting to go on the "big boat" in a few short days, Tyler has been talking about it quite a bit. And I know I've said it in the past, but Allison idolizes Tyler and wants to do and say everything just like him.
Well, the other night, Allison was talking to her Great-Grandma Farish (Billy's grandma) on the phone. Grandma mentioned the boat and how we would be seeing them in a few days to go on our cruise. In response, Allison rambled off several remarks in another language that only she can understand and then exclaimed, "ANCHORS AWEIGH!!!"
It was hillarious!

For the past couple days, Tyler and Allison have spent the night with my parents so that I could pack and run all the errands I needed to in preparation for our trip. While playing on the computer with Grandma, Tyler decided to do an inspection of the dinosaur-age monitor. After observing the side of it, the following dialogue took place...

Tyler: Grandma, what's on the side of your computer?
Grandma: I don't know. What is it?
Tyler (in all seriousness): It's all scratched up. What a useless piece of crap.

When my mom was relaying the story to me, she asked Tyler to tell me what he said about Grandma and Pawpaw's computer. With a smirk on his face, he responded with, "it's a piece of crap."
Again, I plead the fifth on where my kids came up with that word!

**In defense of my mom and dad's computer, it is old, but I don't think it's "all scratched up." And it IS as slow as molasses, but it gets the job done!**
