As with many other children, Tyler gets a bit wound up when he's awake past his bedtime (true sign of fatigue!). Since we are still struggeling to get our internal clocks back on east coast time, he has been up a little later than normal. Earlier tonight, as Tyler started showing signs of rambunctiousness, he and Billy exchanged the following:
Billy: Tyler, your internal clock is telling you you're tired and it's past your bedtime.
Tyler: I don't see a turtle clock. But we need to buy one!
***This is even cuter if you know that Tyler LOVES turtles (maybe even more than T-Rex these days). He eats, sleeps, and breaths turtles!

so cute! one of my friends has a friend who posts all the cute things her kids say on the side of her blog.
That is too funny. Have you considered getting him a turtle as a pet? I had two - Bud and Albert - when I was in elementary school. They are simple creatures. Just a thought.
Thanks for posting these cute little things your kids say. They make my day.
how cute! I cannot wait to have funny exchanges with our Jet. Yes- I was miss Folsom! I couldn't remember her name until you said it. lol. I ended up teaching at Cheatham Hill Elem - 1st grade and I love love it! I am taking some time off now to be home with Jet - I have always wanted to be able to stay home with my children and with Jet it was a no brainer. There is no way I could meet his needs and be a good teacher at the same time. At least not right now. But the thought of not going back to my classroom and school still makes me sad. I am scared I won't be able to get back there when the time comes and I LOVE it there. I know I'll be up there visiting as soon as school starts up. Did you miss it? How long did it take you to adjust?
What a cutie pie! I love all the fun stuff toddlers say. :)
